Is Webaaty the same as Chaaty?
Yes — Webaaty is simply the WordPress way to use Chaaty. Chaaty is the AI engine that powers the assistant; the Webaaty plugin embeds it on your WordPress site with one setting. Same product, same dashboard, just installed the WordPress way.
Is the plugin free?
Yes — the Webaaty plugin is free on WordPress.org, and Chaaty has a free plan. Paid Chaaty plans add more usage and features, and they apply the same whether you embed via the plugin or a script.
Where do I find my Chatbot ID?
In your Chaaty dashboard, open your chatbot's embed code. The Chatbot ID is the data-chatbot-id value in that snippet — paste just that value into the plugin.
Will it slow my site down?
No. The plugin only loads a lightweight widget script on the front end when you've entered a Chatbot ID and enabled the assistant.
How do I remove it?
Turn off “Show on site” in Settings → Chaaty, or deactivate the plugin. Either one stops the widget from loading.
